I was a financial advisor for 13 years prior to my son being diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder about eight years ago. Since then, I've had a variety of roles, including: stay-at-home mom, autism advocate, volunteer, and consultant.

I served on the board of a local autism organization for over 5 years, holding the positions of Fundraising Coordinator, Vice President or President during my term. I was involved in providing support and resources to other families, fundraising, media and public awareness, social media and event planning.

Recently, I've been working part time as a financial analyst for a small company and also doing some freelance writing and research projects.

I really enjoy writing, and have decided to make it a priority for me this year. Recently, I started writing a monthly article for a local magazine, and I'm looking forward to more exciting writing opportunities, both print and online, in the future.
